Pre-Puppy Training
This class is geared towards new puppy owners. It is important that prior to purchasing a new puppy, people choose a breed that will suit their family's lifestyle. This is a packaged course only, purchased in a set of three. The first class will go over what your family is looking for in a dog, the types of activities your family participates in, and how much time your family can dedicate to exercise and training. The second class will be after research on my part. It will be breed specific, focusing on breeds and breeders that you will suit your needs. The final class will be puppy necessities and what to expect when you pick up your new dog, as well as, answering any questions you and your family may have.
Puppy Training
This class is perfect for puppies ages 4 months to 8 months old. These are basic manners all pups should learn. At the end of all hour long sessions, we will spend a few minutes discussing any issues or concerns that you may have regarding your new puppy.
Some topics we will work on:
- Sit
- Stay
- Walking on a loose leash (includes waiting at doors)
- Down
- Simple Tricks
These classes are available in both single session purchases or a package of six.
Basic Training
This class is geared towards the dogs that have aged out of puppy class, they have either been through puppy training and want to hone their skills or for older dogs that are just learning their manners. Classes will be similar to puppy class, but will require more intense focus from both the handler and the dog.
Some topics we will work on:
- Sit
- Stay
- Heel
- Down
These classes are available in both single session purchases or a package of six.
Rescue Dog Training
A rescue dog is very different to train than a dog you purchase from a breeder, many times these dogs come from sad backgrounds and require quite a bit of patience. This training course is focused entirely on integrating your new dog into your family with the least amount of stress on both. We will go over all basic manners and immediately address any questions or concerns that your family may have about it's new member.
These classes are available only in package form.
Trick Training
This class is geared towards the more advanced dog training practices that have completed puppy and basic training.
A few tricks we will work on:
- Roll Over
- Sit Pretty
- Hoop Jumping
These classes are available in both single session purchases or a package of six.
